A treadmill workout is typically focused on cardiovascular activity or weight loss. There are other training goals that include treadmill action such as building up energy levels and longer staying power.
Here are is one of my favorite treadmill exercises:This is A mix of aerobic and strength training.
The Workout: Walk at a at ease pace for 5 minutes, then step off and do 60 seconds of circuit exercises. Cycle through crunches, push-ups, side-crunches, lunges and dips. This should take 30 minutes.
This is an easy workout and I use it when I first started working on a treadmill. Now I’m doing it only as a recover or relaxation workout.
